I stumbled across these very clever and creative alternate disney movie posters over at TQS Magazine and thought I'd share them over here on Design Shard.
These vectors were created by taking rubbings of various objects such as walls and wooden panels with a black crayon on to A4 plain paper - once scanned and vectorised they have immediatly become usable assets for your artwork maybe in poster or t-shirt design.
These paper textures were scanned from an old manuscript that I bought - They have been scanned in at a high resolution and would be ideal for any project that requires a vintage look and feel.

A few Photoshop light effect tutorials that have caught my eye while looking over the tutorial sites, for me these produce the best results while using brushes, blurs and other media such as textures to create a top quality effect.
I like to think that this is a list of some of the more high quality 3D text effect tutorials out there, Some of these aren't for the faint hearted as they use programs such as Xara and 3DS Max.
Ive been looking around the web to try and find some examples of clean well structured sites, this maybe a unique layout or just simply presented well with some good typography, spacing or an initial great first impression of the site, here are jsut a few of what im liking.
These were created by soaking A4 pieces of paper in a tray filled with food colouring and then left to dry in the sun.
