Minimalist, modern web design is very much the in thing. It reflects you are in the 21st century. Another great resource is Siteinspire and Minimalsites. Take a look today!
amazing stuff thanx :) You should be a sales expert.
I wanted to see more of Glue’s site but it seems they converted over to flash and destroyed the simple but creative look. Flash is ok for some small text effects, but when it takes so long to load, it loses my interest while I wait.

Nice and clean wordpress blog for Denby Pottery, not overstated.

These are great examples of clean, well structured websites. Most of them still follow the conventional web layouts but combine that with great use of typography and arrangement. I find that a lot of websites feel that they need to utilise all the space, when the use of white space can be more attractive.
Really great, Janko. Thanks for all the work and for sharing. Have you thought about Posterous, SlideShare and Google Buzz? Cheers, C
Haha, I love Sushi and Robots, I’m a long time fan and I love her style, I wonder if she’s still working for Mac, I remember she used to.

Can’t believe I have only just found your site, am glad I found it, lots of good content here. Do you write anywhere else or just on here?
Thanks, Very useful resource!!
Great Stuff. I like the clean and classy look. As a design leader, I am always impressed with the ability that white-space has on the total impression of a site and company as a whole.

Nice collection. I notice a lot of light colored designs with a lot of whitespace. The simple, clean look is definitely an appealing one.

I’ve tried to make my website clean and well designed…just a shame i’m not a web designer. when are you gonna do a new blog post Max? Your lists are great…I suppose they must take some time to put together.
Great selection here, i love the Rainbeau Mars one. Some real inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Nice selection, though I hadn’t really been struck by the predominance of WHITE in modern website design until … now. I do get the sterile cleanliness of it, I’m just not sure that a little more contrast isn’t sometimes a good thing too … (Brian Hoff and Adrian Pelletier, I’m looking at you … but not only).
