I’ve collected some great examples of space and lighting effects that are quite commonly used in web design these days as inspiration, usually accompanied by vivid colours and streaks of light, which is currently one of my favourite styles.

Beatle Rock band seems cute but I like Gummisig, Amber Miro and Albert Lo sites better. It is because these sites have bright backgrounds. I wish I could be able to design such wonderful web design like these. Thanks for sharing the wonderful list of web designs.

Do I like this style of web design or do I find it too over powering? I do like the background style and design, but feel the rest of the web page, in most of the examples, are a little too busy, then detracting from the powerful simplicity of the good minimalistic design/s in the background. A little less text and reducing of other smaller imagery would be more effective -not totally eliminating text of course, due to it being needed for SEO purposes, just perhaps moving most of it down below the fold.
