Featured Illustrator: The Super Talented Irina Vinnik

Whilst looking through Behance I discovered a female illustrator called Irina Vinnik from Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Her illustrations immediately struck me as being fantastically detailed. Drawn in a moleskin they have a quiet unassuming quality that makes them even more interesting.

I’m sure you will see more of Irina’s work around the design interweb as she is very talented.

  4. Amazing work, and such intricate details. Absolutely love the typography style illustrations she’s done. You have to admire the time and patience it takes for an illustrator to create designs like this, from the different stroke sizes to getting the proportions right. Sometimes it’s nice to go back to pencil and paper rather than using a computer!

  12. It’s amazing how simple things (such as the fifth image from the top with the circle things) can look so great when put together in a certain way. It’s the creative side that I sometimes lack when I want to design something and this really inspires me to get moving right now. Well done!!

  16. Really amazing work! Such attention to details! It’s hard to believe it’s drawn by hand and not via computer. Reminds me of Johanna Basford’s work in ComputerArts #133
